We are proud to be one of only three independent community-based health systems in Virginia. We are committed to our role in the community by providing free health screenings, community education, and scholarship opportunities. Our staff, Board of Directors, and physicians live and work in the community and make health care decisions based on community needs. We don’t just serve the community, we are a part of the community.
Our community of nurses are critical to the community care we provide, and we foster a supportive environment in our nursing department. We practice shared governance and work in tandem from the bedside nurse to the Chief Nursing Officer to provide contemporary, evidence-based care to our patients.
Caring for the community with compassion, skill, and knowledge.
