Our Crossroads Behavioral Health Unit specializes in low acuity geriatric and adult behavioral health. We approach care through a team nurse model with specialized professionals including RNs, Mental Health Workers, Patient Observers, recreation therapist, case management, and providers. This team approach reflects our belief that each patient has a unique set of challenges, and that personalized treatments and recovery plans require compassionate, dedicated professionals.

The Cancer Center and Infusion Services provide care to oncological, hematological, and general patient populations.
We consistently deliver safe quality care for optimal patient outcomes in accordance with Virginia state guidelines and nationally recognized evidence-based standards and guidelines established by professional nursing specialty organizations, i.e. Oncology Society of Nursing (ONS). The ambulatory setting are multifaceted, recognizing variables consistent with population mix; care needs; treatment regimens; number of chairs and beds; services provided; and accreditation requirements. Daily care assignments fluctuate based upon these variables.

The Clinical Resource Team members will be assigned to different units based on staffing needs. The Inpatient Rehab Unit is an 8-bed unit dedicated to patients recovering from life-changing events such as stroke, brain injury, trauma, and other debilities that significantly alter daily life. All work together to identify and reduce the key issues and barriers in the patient’s life to function at their optimal level in their living environment. Our patients have an average 14-day length of stay and are generally recovering from surgery or acute illness.
